1. What happens if I send money to an incorrect mobile number?

If you sent your money to an incorrect mobile number, we are, unfortunately, unable to recover your funds, as we have no control over transactions. It’s very important to make sure that you have verified the transaction details before you transfer fund.


2. What is the maximum balance/limit of CashBaba?

3. What can I do with the money of my CashBaba Wallet account?

You can spend the money loaded into your CashBaba Wallet account for many purposes. Some of them are listed below

CashBaba is completely safe and secure to share confidential details. It can store multiple credit/debit cards and bank account numbers with highest level of security because it is PCI DSS certified product.

10. How many accounts can I have?

Each user can have only one personal CashBaba account and a merchant can have more than one account for different business entities but with different mobile numbers. It’s a CashBaba policy.


11. If I save my card details for future use, will it be safe in my e-wallet account?

Cashbaba is ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certified. It also follows ISO 8583 standard. Therefore, your card details in CasBaba is totally safe and secure.


12. If my transaction fails and payment gets deducted from my account what should I do?

If something goes wrong with your payment transaction and amount gets deducted from your account, in that case, the amount will be refunded back to your wallet. If the amount is not refunded automatically then wait for 24 business hours to get the credit back to your wallet. In case money not credited back to your account within that time period please contact us via email at support@cashbaba.com.bd or call us at +8801904499019.


13. If my mobile phone is lost, what will happen to CashBaba account?

Since your wallet is 3D secured, it is safe even though you have lost your phone. If you still suspect any unauthorized access to your account or your mobile phone is lost, firstly and immediately inform your mobile operator to block your SIM so that nobody has access to the OTP for transactions and at the same time please inform CashBaba support team via email at support@cashbaba.com.bd or call us at +8801904499019. and we shall take care of your account from any unauthorized transactions.


14. How long will it take to verify my account?

As soon as you create your account, verify it and update your profile you will be eligible to use your CashBaba wallet. It usually takes 1-3 business days.


15. What if I enter wrong password for 3 times?

Entering the wrong password thrice will block your CashBaba account access. You will have to contact our customer support department to reactivate your access.


16. How can I apply for chargeback after making payment to the merchant?

If you want to claim a chargeback, you have to raise a ticket through the application mentioning the reason. These reasons offer an explanation as to why you are disputing the transaction.


17. What will be the policy if I want to return a purchase or want refund for non-delivered product?

Please contact your merchant regarding this issue. If you want to return a purchase or want refund for non-delivery items it will be followed by the merchant’s prescribed terms and conditions. If the merchant finds the request valid as per his/her business policy, he will initiate the refund.


18. How do I withdraw money to a bank account?

You need to have your personal bank account linked with your CashBaba account and then you can transfer money into that bank account from your wallet. For further details, please check the user manual.


19. If I close my account can I have my money back?

Definitely, you can have your money back into your bank account subject to all outstanding fees or charges are paid.


20. Will my wallet balance earn interest?

CashBaba wallet doesn’t provide any interest as per the guideline of Bangladesh Bank.


21. What happens if I enter a wrong OTP while doing any transaction?

During transaction if you put wrong OTP, your payment will be declined. For successful transaction, you must put OTP correctly. If the OTP expires, you have to request for new OTP.


22. What happens if there is no money in the account can I still do transactions?

You are not able to do any transaction if you do not have money in your account but you will be able to request money from your Friends and Family who have CashBaba wallets.


23. How will I know when someone has sent me money via CashBaba Wallet?

CashBaba will send notifications to your App and your registered e-mail address, informing you of the amount and the source. Beside these, if you login to your account you can see the confirmation of the transaction in the transaction history.


24. Why can’t I send money or purchase although I’m registered?

You will not be able to send money or purchase with your CashBaba Wallet. It can happen, if-

  • • your account balance is zero
  • • you have crossed your daily/monthly limit
  • • the system finds the transaction as potentially fraudulent
  • • no transaction has taken place for last 6 months from your wallet
  • • you have entered wrong information while registering with CashBaba
  • • enforced by the regulatory body

25. How long does it take to receive the money transferred into my account?

The money will be transferred to your account instantly on real time.


26. What is the time length I have to dispute a transaction in case of online purchase?

This is fully depends on merchant’s end user policy.


27. What do I do if I never received my purchase?

Please contact your merchant or you can contact us via emailing us at support@cashbaba.com.bd or call us at +8801904499019 and raise a dispute. We will then take action to resolve the issue and you will be refunded if your dispute is found to be legit.


28. Why didn’t I receive my account activation mail?

If you do not receive your activation email, first check whether if you registered with us with the correct email address. If your email address is correct then check your junk/spam folder to ensure that it did not fall in those boxes. If you still have not received your activation email, please contact us via emailing us at support@cashbaba.com.bd or call us at +8801904499019.


29. How do I withdraw funds from CashBaba?

You can withdraw funds from CashBaba directly to your bank account or you can withdraw money from ATM Booths.
